Itinerary of Sundarban Exploration:
- DAY 1: In the morning, begin your journey from Dhaka to Khulna by train or bus. This trip will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. Upon arrival in Khulna, check into your hotel and take some time to freshen up. In the afternoon, explore Khulna’s local attractions, enjoy some traditional dishes, and prepare for your upcoming Sundarbans adventure.
- DAY 2 : In the very early morning we aboard our cozy houseboat at the Khulna jetty, where your adventure begins at. We’ll set sail southward right away, heading towards our first destination of Kotka/Kochikhali. Along the way, we’ll pause briefly to handle the necessary forest permit procedures. We expect to reach Kotka by late afternoon. If time allows, you might enjoy some exciting activities before settling in for the night on the boat.
- Day 3: this day promises a day full of adventure! We’ll start with a serene early morning boat trip. After breakfast, we’ll embark on a 40-minute walk through fields and dense forest to reach a pristine beach. Once we return to the houseboat, we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch and some downtime. In the afternoon, get ready for another trekking adventure until sunset, where you’ll have the chance to witness rich biodiversity and possibly spot some wildlife tracks. The day will end with a BBQ dinner and a cozy overnight stay on the cruiser.
